**White Eagle Lodge does not have Hostel rooms, a Community Kitchen, Kitchenette uints or Apartments.
As of September 26, 2013 the White Eagle Lodge At Crestone is
PERMANENTLY CLOSED.
Structural weaknesses discovered durning this past year are unable to
be remedied to current safety standards. The most recent expert
recommendation is demolition.

We are near Crestone, Colorado in the beautiful San Luis Valley, next to the breathtaking Sangre De Cristo Mountains and the Great Sand Dunes National Park
The air is fresh and clean, the pace is slow and the vistas are magnificent! The White Eagle Lodge At Crestone (formerly known as the White Eagle Village) is a Spiritual and Wellness Retreat Center and Lodge located four miles west of Crestone, Colorado and is nestled at the base of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains.

We are next door to the Challenger Golf Club. The Great Sand Dunes National Park, several Hot Springs, rafting on the Arkansas River, and wilderness hiking trails are all located within easy driving distance. There are many spiritual, educational and environmental centers including the Shumei International Institute, Carmelite Monastery, The Tibetan Stupa, Haidakhandi Universal Ashram, Sri Aurobindo Learning Center and more. All this at the foot of four 14,000+ peaks.

Getting here - The closest airports are Colorado Springs (about 3 hrs), Denver (4hrs), and Albuquerque (5 hrs) There is a commercial airline, Great Lakes Aviation, that flies between Denver and Alamosa. They coordinate with Frontier and United Airlines and can be reached at their web site.
